Treyboat is operated by Triple S & M LLC, a Florida company. We operate a yacht and boat charter marketplace at treyboat.com. Questions: privacy@treyboat.com.

2. Information We Collect

From Guests

Name, email address, and phone number (provided during booking)
Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details)
WhatsApp number (for booking confirmations and OTP verification)
IP address and device information (for fraud prevention)
GPS location (only if you scan a boarding QR code)
Photos (boarding photo if taken by the captain at departure)

From Owners

Business name, email, phone, and payment details (Stripe Connect)
Boat information, photos, and documentation
Identity verification data (if you opt into the Verified Owner program via Didit)

3. How We Use Your Information

To process bookings and payments
To send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates via email and WhatsApp
To verify your identity and prevent fraud (chargeback protection)
To display reviews and ratings on boat listings
To send marketing communications (only if you opt in)
To comply with legal obligations

4. Marketing Communications

If you opt in to marketing at checkout, we may send you promotional offers, new listings, and platform news via email and WhatsApp. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or replying STOP to any WhatsApp message.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data with:

Stripe: for payment processing and payouts
Resend: for transactional email delivery
Meta (WhatsApp): for booking notifications and OTP verification
Cloudflare R2: for photo storage
Boat Owners: guest name, email, and phone are shared with the Owner of a confirmed booking

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We retain booking data for 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Account data is retained until deletion request. Photos and documents are retained for the duration of the relevant booking or document validity.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@treyboat.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect platform functionality.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, and access controls. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
