Frequently asked questions
Is listing free?
Yes. Creating your profile and listing your boats is completely free. Treyboat takes a commission only when a booking is confirmed and paid through the marketplace. Direct bookings via your personal calendar link are commission-free.
How do I get paid?
Through Stripe Connect. Once a booking is confirmed and the charter has taken place, your payout is transferred automatically to your bank account — typically within 2 business days.
Can I keep my existing booking system?
Yes. You can connect Treyboat to your existing calendar (Airbnb, VRBO, Google Calendar) via iCal sync. We block dates automatically so there are no double bookings.
Do I need a captain?
Per Florida law, guests must choose their captain freely. You can add your own captains to the platform, set their pricing (included or extra), and guests select from available crew during checkout.
What happens if a guest cancels?
Treyboat enforces a tiered guest cancellation policy: cancellations more than 30 days out receive a 95% refund. Within 7–30 days, 80%. Within 48h, 40%. No-shows receive no refund. You keep a portion of the retained amount per the policy.
